Coming off the back of mega-hit, “Rockabye,” Clean Bandit finally release their Zara Larsson assisted track, “Symphony.”
Did anyone expect “Rockabye” to be as big as it was? 9 weeks at number one, including Christmas number one as well as going top 10 on the U.S. Billboard chart? No, no we didn’t.
“Symphony” is completely different to its predecessor, gone are the tropical tingles and summer vibes.
Here there’s still the classical edge of Bandit, but with more of a straight forward spring club jam.
What’s great about this track is that it changes it up at multiple times throughout. Often nowadays, songs don’t contain much mystery and throw everything but the kitchen-sink into the track before the first chorus – here they hold back and it makes for a nice few surprises in it’s listen.
Larsson sounds great on this track, her voice isn’t revolutionary voice, but it’s the perfect tone for pop music.
It’s a big week for Larsson, not only is she releasing this track, but her debut album is out NOW! Long as there it’s more “Lush Life” than “So Good,” we’re in for a treat.
