Kid Cupid – “BLUE MOON” | Review

Kid Cupid blend acoustic vibes with electronic beats on their latest single, “BLUE MOON.”

London based, female fronted band, Kid Cupid, have only been together little over a year, but their sound already sounds mastered. With their MisterWives vibes and London Grammar authenticity, the band tackle more than the average band, they offer social commentaries.

“BLUE MOON” discusses the interactions we have on a day to day basis with total strangers that we never see again. The song was inspired when lead singer, Laura Shaw, was in India and witnessed the sunset over the river.

The production of the track is really beautiful. It starts off as an acoustic track before synths begin to drive the song, surrounded by echoes! Indie-electro-pop at its finest.

Oh, and let’s please take a moment to appreciate the harmonies!
