Sigrid – “Fake Friends” | Review

She’s gone and done it again, Sigrid has released another perfect pop song, this time it’s in the form of EP track, “Fake Friends.”

Following the critical acclaim of “Don’t Kill My Vibe” and “Plot Twist,” the Norwegian songstress  has released a four track EP, Don’t Kill My Vibe, with the previously mentioned tracks as well as “Dynamite,” an acoustic track, and “Fake Friends.”

The track opens as a ballad-like track before building into a mid-tempo bop where her vocals open up and show how they can flex.

In fact, the whole tracks uses her voice in totally different ways, from almost whispers and pitched notes, to more powerful notes.

Lyrically, the track discusses…well “Fake Friends,” and how you don’t need them and that you “might as well shut down” if you have them.

Sigrid IS my favourite new artist of 2017. Everything she released is literally fucking perfect!

The mainstream charts may not have caught onto her brilliance yet, but they can’t ignore her forever!

Listen to “Fake Friends” below and let us know what you think in the comments!
