Through the art of interpretive dance, Cusi Coyllur portrays the emotional, psychological, physical and sexual abuse that victims of domestic abuse go through.
Coyllur, a mental health activist, whose work crosses more than just music – she has a self-help blog The Strange is Beautiful and also offers positive healing through yoga sessions.
“I hope this music video can help others understand the pain that trauma survivors go through and the urgency to stop normalizing abuse, especially the types that are often not recognized as harmful such as verbal abuse.”
