Song Of The Week: Sigrid – “Strangers” | Review

Sigrid is back and somehow is better than before on her new single, “Strangers.”

Sigrid burst onto the scene back in February and blew everyone away with her amazing debut, “Don’t Kill My Vibe,” and then once again with “Plot Twist” – it’s safe to say we became a little obsessed with the Norweign singer.

“Strangers” takes what we loved about the star in the first place and turns the dial right up!

The track opens as a stark and open twinkling production-lead song before synths come in and lift the song and begin racing towards the explosive, 80s inspired chorus that makes you want to move from the first synth crash.

Can we just talk about the final chorus though, the staggering synths in the final 30 seconds just add that extra layer to mix it up a little more and we’re a little bit in love.

It’s all well and good talking about production, but Sigrid’s voice is just pure gold – if you haven’t heard her acoustic versions of previous singles, please go and listen now!

It’s been said a million times this year, but Sigrid is definitely the future of pop music!
