P!nk – “Beautiful Trauma” | Review

P!nk releases the second track, “Beautiful Trauma,” from her upcoming eighth album of the same name – we can all rejoice that classic P!nk is back.

We are just two weeks from Beautiful Trauma and we couldn’t be more excited, let’s be honest, P!nk has never released a bad album, even her worst is still great.

Well, today we’ve been gifted the title track from her new album and it’s just great.

When “What About Us” was released, apart from absolutely loving new P!nk, we were a bit worried that she was leaving her old, pop-rock sound behind – breathe, because she hasn’t.

While the track isn’t a total pop-rock song, it has the elements that we love from her, the ballsy lyrics and the hard-hitting beats, but all wrapped in her new era’s more pop direction sound – thanks to Jack Antonoff (Lorde).

The poppier sound of her new music sounds great with her world renown strong vocals, rather than a dramatic sonic shift, the new sound feels like a natural progression for P!nk.
