Will Joseph Cook – “Plastic” | Review

“Plastic” stays true to Will Joseph Cook‘s indie roots while having enough pop elements to keep it mainstream.

Will Joseph Cook’s upcoming album Sweet Talker (out Apr.14) is set to be AMAZING! After releasing a string of tracks like “Sweet Dreamer” and “Girls Like Me” from the album, Cook is ready to release what could be 2017s summer jam!

“Plastic” is a tropical-tinged track that has an irregular, scatty production that will definitely have you dancing like an idiot in your living room – but who cares, let the music take over!

“I wanted the whole track to feel like it was constantly bubbling over with emotion and movement,” Cook says about the track, and it definitely does feel the way he intended.

The bridge offers some light relief from the euphoric production, it allows you to calm and collect your thoughts before going back into the fabulousness of the summer ready vibes.

If you’re not excited for Sweet Talker, then you must have something wrong with you! The tracks off it have been amazing!

You can also catch cook live on his first headline tour!!! Take a look at the dates and go and buy yourself a ticket!

Take a listen to “Plastic,” as well as the other releases from the album below and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
